Today, February 6, 2010 the prayer vigil participants at the AMS of Pensacola saw many lives spared from abortion.  Praise God!  We believe there were a total of 4 women who changed their mind and did not abort their child.  One woman, as she left the abortion facility, looked at a sign reading, “Women DO regret abortion” and gave us the three finger (I LOVE YOU) sign with her right hand as she drove away.

Please keep these women and those that did have abortions in your prayers.  We pray that those who left will continue to choose life and that the Holy Spirit will guide and enlighten them as mothers.   We pray for those women who lost children today to abortion that through this terrible act of violence on their child and themselves, they might repent and seek forgiveness and healing from our Lord Jesus Christ.  That Mercy may shower down on them and that one day that may be a voice for LIFE.

As the abortionist arrived at the facility driven by a police officer, he turned his head, and looked directly at the same sign reading, “Women Do regret abortion,” and although he wears a hockey mask to hide his face from the people praying outside his abortion facility, I believe God used this sign to impact him in some way.  Please pray for this poor abortionist that he might listen turn away from these works of death, which are destroying his life.  Pray that this abortionist might come to listen to the Divine Mercy, who wants so much for him to turn away from these works of darkness into HIS MARVELOUS LIGHT!

Thank you for being a voice for the voiceless today, and keep coming each Saturday morning from 6am until 3pm when God’s dear little ones are aborted from this earth into the arms of our Lord and where GREAT MIRACLES ARE HAPPENING FOR LIFE!

Thank you JESUS, BLESSED MOTHER, and HOLY SPIRIT!  ALL PRAISE AND HONOR TO YOU LORD JESUS CHRIST!

For Their Lives,
Ernie and Mary Beth Cyr, M.E.V.

P.S. Don’t forget to sign up for vigil hours, 40 Days for Life, begins in 11 DAYS!!!  Spread the word and let’s get many people involved.  WHAT A PERFECT LENTEN SACRIFICE!

This is what one of this mornings prayer vigil participants heard from a young man.  He told her that her presence was making his friend’s decision much more difficult.

Although the young woman did decide to have an abortion (let us pray for her that she will come to know Gods mercy), the young man’s words illustrate something very important.  A pro-life presence in front of an abortion facility is absolutely necessary.  If there is no presence then consciences go unchecked.  Please remember how vitally important your presence is to changing hearts and minds from the deception of abortion.  We hope to see you along with many new faces as our spring 40 Days for Life kicks off this February 17th through March 28th in front of AMS of Pensacola abortion facility.  Each and every day please remember to pray for an end to abortion and ask God how he could use your time, talent, and treasure to end abortion in Pensacola.  May the Peace of Jesus Christ be with you!

From the 40 Days for Life national website…

I am so happy to hear that the abortion center in Pensacola has closed. I witnessed an abortion take place at a Pensacola abortion center. I think it was this same abortion center that just closed, though I’m not absolutely certain.

I was with my confused girlfriend at the time, who I thought wasn’t going to go through with the abortion. I tried to talk her out of this horrible procedure, and I thought that in the end she would open her heart and her eyes to see that abortion was not the answer. I prayed for her daily, and tried to talk her out of it. After all of this she still went through with the procedure, which I know she deeply regrets.

I know she wishes she hadn’t done this, because just a month or so later she was talking about trying to have another baby… I’m still praying for her, and all the other men and women who are confused and think that abortion is the best solution. It is not, it truly is not.

Great news everyone –  TWO babies were saved Friday morning!!!  Here is the story:  A young woman walked into the abortion clinic and then came back out crying.  She walked over to where the pro-lifers were and asked if she could borrow someone’s cell phone.  She said that she couldn’t go through with it and called her dad to pick her up.  She told the pro-lifers she was pregnant with twins!  This is wonderful news :D I can’t express how uplifting and joyful it is to be out there and see all the sadness going on- but then to hear such joyful triumph of life over death.  A young woman chose life- she chose courage- and she will be greatly blessed for this.

Please continue to keep her and other mothers in your prayers.

“And who is my neighbor?”
Jesus replied,
“A man fell victim to robbers
as he went down from Jerusalem to Jericho.
They stripped and beat him and went off leaving him half-dead.
A priest happened to be going down that road,
but when he saw him, he passed by on the opposite side.
Likewise a Levite came to the place,
and when he saw him, he passed by on the opposite side.
But a Samaritan traveler who came upon him
was moved with compassion at the sight.
He approached the victim,
poured oil and wine over his wounds and bandaged them.
Then he lifted him up on his own animal,
took him to an inn, and cared for him.
The next day he took out two silver coins
and gave them to the innkeeper with the instruction,
‘Take care of him.
If you spend more than what I have given you,
I shall repay you on my way back.’
Which of these three, in your opinion,
was neighbor to the robbers’ victim?”
He answered, “The one who treated him with mercy.”
Jesus said to him, “Go and do likewise.”

In our world today many look down on the homeless and those who live in our streets.  One might say they are the Samaritans of our age.  Today’s gospel reading was about the good Samaritan and here on the streets of Pensacola a   REAL GOOD SAMARITAN taught us a valuable lesson.  Our Good Samaritan was walking by the Community Healthcare Center of Pensacola, stopped and noticed an African American couple getting out of their vehicle to enter the abortion facility.  He called out to the couple, ” Why don’t you give your child a chance to live before killing him?”   The man and woman looked at the Samaritan, with tears in their eyes (probably realizing that their state in life was not so bad that they could not afford their child), left the abortion clinic and a child’s life is saved.  All because one GOOD SAMARITAN did not just pass by, but stopped and reached out with words of truth and love.

Thank you GOOD SAMARITAN, you humble us with your selflessness

During the rosary and immediately after asking God that the Holy Spirit will touch the hearts of the people in the clinic to change their mind about abortion I saw the young woman in the white Acura wave and smile as she was driven away from the clinic.   B said he read her lips and she said “I kept my baby.”  This was in response to his blessing of her with a sign of the cross!
A baby lives because of her decision for life!  Helping women to see their baby as truly “my baby” instead of as “my problem” or “it” is so important. The witness at the clinic helps do that.

Here is the first hand account about the mother who chose life today!  Praise God!

Great story to share with you from today after you and your family left. Do you remember the white Acura that pulled into the abortion clinic today (the one with the older woman driving who flipped us the finger as she drove past us with a young girl in the passenger seat)? Well later that morning, as I was saying a rosary on the sidewalk facing the street and not the clinic, the white Acura pulled out from the abortion clinic. For some reason I looked up from my prayer and saw the car pulling out. I immediately made eye contact with the young girl and gave her a compassionate look and blessed her with a sign of the cross as she was driving by. Her eyes immediately lit up and she smiled at me. Looking back at me she was happily patting her tummy and mouthed the words “I kept my baby!” as they drove away. I fist pumped a “yes!” in the middle of the rosary and startled others praying with me who asked what happened. I told them and we were so happy! It made all the time we collectively spent at the clinic today well worth while. She looked to be about 17, unfortunately she was the only happy face we saw leave the clinic today. I can’t begin to imagine the courage she showed inside the clinic today, especially with the pressure I’m sure she received from the “Driver” of the car and the clinic. God Bless, and another baby saved!!

The power of prayer!  The power of community witness!  All the more reason to go and peacefully pray, fast, and stand as a witness for life!  What are you waiting for?  Lives are depending on you.

May the peace of Christ be with you!

Today, many vigil participants witnessed a young woman, accompanied by her angry mother, walk out of the 9th avenue mill to save the life of her baby!  The young woman passed by the 40 Days for Life prayer volunteers with a big smile.  She stated she was keeping her baby!  Praise God!  Keep up the prayers.  Keep going to the 9th Avenue mill in prayer.  Miracles are happening.

This afternoon as 7 – 8 vigil participants prayed in front of the Community Healthcare Center of Pensacola, a young couple in a VW beetle drove into the facility parking lot.  A young man stepped out of the car smoking a cigarette, but the young woman remained in the car.  Seeing the young couple, the women 40 Days for Life participants began to speak to the young man.  They told him about the painful scar abortion had left on their friends lives and on the lives of their families.  One of the 40 Days for Life participants told the young man about the loss of a niece or nephew to abortion.  She explained to the young man that her sister has never been the same since her abortion.  As she finished telling the young man how abortion affected her family, he looked at the vigil participants, put his cigarette to the ground, and then drove away with the young woman.

We hope and pray that this young couple continues to give life a chance.  It is a good sign that they left the 9th avenue abortion facility.  We pray that God will continue to speak to them.  Please pray for this young couple that they will keep their child.

Thank you to all those that have shown up to pray for life and being a positive example for life.  Keep going.  Keep praying.  Keep fasting.  Keep witnessing to a community hungry for the truth.

If you haven’t gone to pray yet, you need to.  Now more than ever your witness is critical to changing hearts and minds.  God will use you to bring his love and mercy to those that need to hear of his LOVE for them.

Don’t wait another day.  Go.  Pray.  Fast.  Witness.  Life is depending on you.

May the peace of Christ be with you!
