In the parable of the Good Samaritan found in the Gospel of Luke (Luke 10:25-37)  we discover the perfect template to follow when we go to the local abortion facility.  We are called to be moved by compassion at the sight of the victims of abortion.  We are called to be neighbors to the robber’s victims and treat them with mercy

Who are those victims?

They are…

Our neighbors

The mothers and fathers who go to the abortion facility victimized by the culture of death.

The mothers and fathers who have lost a child to the trauma of abortion.

The workers who are tricked into the belief they are helping women.

The abortionist who believes they are helping women.

What are we called to do?

Are we called to keep walking by and do nothing?  No

Are we called to bring anger and hate?  No

You and I are called to to be MOVED BY COMPASSION and BRING MERCY!

That’s it, You and I are called to bring MERCY.

A compassionate heart moved by mercy is the key to healing the wounds of abortion.

Go and do likewise.

In Matthew 18:10, Jesus teaches his disciples what the guardian angels in heaven see when they look upon the face of a little one.

“See that you do not despise one of these little ones, for I say to you that….

their angels in heaven always look upon the face of my heavenly Father.”

It’s comforting to know that when we pray at the abortion facility we are standing with the angels, united in prayer, acknowledging that each person is made in God’s image.  We stand in prayer with the “guardian angels” of the children in the womb, encouraging their mothers to receive the gift of a child.

Go and stand with the angels.

This past Friday morning in Pensacola, moments after the abortionist arrived, TWO mothers made an abrupt exit from the abortion facility.  As 40 Days for Life vigil participants and sidewalk advocates prayed and promoted life saving information, one of the mothers drove away in her car.  A sidewalk advocate was able to hand her our resource brochure and ask her if she was keeping her baby.  She smiled and said, “YES.”  The advocate continued to walk beside her car as she slowly drove away allowing the advocate time to explain what resources she had available to her.  She was grateful for the information and drove away.

Moments later, a second mother left.  Through her car window she responded to another advocates welcoming gestures with a wave back and beautiful smile along with the universal okay symbol, saying “I’m gonna be okay!”

Wow!  Two mothers left the abortion facility in Pensacola without having an abortion!  Praise the Lord!

Please pray for these mothers.  Continue to come out during this 40 Days for Life campaign from 6 AM to 6 PM through November 5th in front of the American Family Planning abortion facility, 6115 Village Oaks Drive.

Your presence DOES matter!  God is hearing our prayers!  Lives are being saved!

On Wednesday afternoon a young woman asked other women to join her for ONE hour to pray in front of the American Family Planning abortion facility in Pensacola.
Here is her Facebook post….
“I would like to invite anyone who is free tomorrow morning (Oct 4) to join me for prayer and quiet witness in front of the abortion clinic from 9:30 to 10:30 am. If you have never gone, don’t feel comfortable going alone, or regularly participate, it doesn’t matter-please join me! There are many reports of women having a change of heart simply because they saw someone praying for them in front of the clinic
Recently the abortion days have increased to 4 days a week at the local clinic. During the hour I was present last week, I counted at least 10 women entering the building. Our prayers and presence there matters.”
This call to participate was met with an opportunity to pray for and to communicate with a young mother on Thursday in Pensacola.  In the hour she was there, her presence meant all the difference in the world for a young mother who was 13 weeks pregnant.  She needed hope and this vigil participant’s presence gave this pregnant mother the hope and courage to leave!
The vigil participants worked together and paid for a cab ride for our young pregnant mother and her 3 year old son.  The man who drove her there did not support her decision to keep their baby, but WE were there to SUPPORT her!
In reference to the cab driver, he was very moved by this mother’s decision to keep her baby.  He confided in the vigil participants that his mother was in a crisis pregnancy with HIM.  She was told to abort HIM, but she was courageous enough to say NO to the pressure.  This cab driver “THANKED” everyone praying and said he would get our young mother home safely.
What an amazing experience for a young woman, who the day before, invited others to join her in prayer for JUST ONE HOUR.  We need more people to pray in front of the American Family Planning abortion facility in Pensacola for JUST ONE HOUR.  Our prayers and presence there TRULY does matter.  Ask our 13 week pregnant mother.  She wants you to BE THERE for others mothers.  Now GO!
Please keep our mother in your prayers.  We have her contact information and will be working with her.  Please keep praying and most importantly, this is YOUR call to sign up for YOUR HOUR during this 40 Days for Life campaign in Pensacola.  Sign up today at https://40daysforlife.com/local-campaigns/pensacola/calendar/

Early Saturday morning we received a Facebook message from a friend seeking help for her sister in Arizona.  Her sister had RU-486 and was planning to begin a chemical abortion at home.  She reached out to us asking if we had local contacts in Arizona.

At first we thought the RU-486 was already taken.  Our direction immediately went to the Abortion Pill Reversal Hotline.  We soon learned that was not the case and moved into gathering resources and identifying local support.

We were able to reach out to our network of pro-life advocates in the area since we are well connected with national pro-life groups.

Through most of Saturday, we worked with a local Sidewalk Advocate leader in Arizona, who gathered information, began a prayer chain, and most importantly offered to be a life line 24/7 to our mother across time zones.

The last message we received on Saturday evening gave us great hope.

“The last 16 hours has been a flurry of talks and craziness. My sister now understands she has options, people to talk to, information, and prayers.….She hadn’t been able to reach out to me until this morning, I am glad she did. I hope this turns around now. Thank you for your passion. All we can do now is hope this ends well.”

“You guys do great work….”

Please keep our Arizona mother, baby, and her family in your prayers.

Help us to continue to be part of an international network of pro-life advocates.  Without your financial support our local organization would not be able to remain part of these GREAT national organizations that allow us to mobilize life-saving efforts wherever they arise.

This bring us to our current GIVING challenge….

  • Host six baby showers for mothers who chose life through the efforts of this ministry.
  • Help over 200 mothers choose life.

  • Train 100 additional sidewalk advocates to reach mothers in need of support.

through the Emerald Coast Coalition for Life in the Pensacola area.

To QUOTE one of the local abortion workers who LEFT through the help of local sidewalk advocates, in 2014, a few months after we launched this ministry in Pensacola, she said something ASTOUNDING related to the effectiveness of these techniques…

She said in a voice of encouragement, “Keep doing what you are doing because women are changing their minds.”

How is that for an endorsement!  Praise God!

Are you going to help us to continue to do what a FORMER Pensacola abortion worker challenged us to keep doing?  I hope so!

RSVP to [email protected]
