On Thursday in Pensacola, this gentleman pictured, one of our Sidewalk advocates, handed a mother seeking an abortion this life-saving information as she approached the entrance to the abortion facility.

She and her friend sat in the parking lot, reviewing the Information received in the brochure.  THey  never got out of their car.

Moments later the two women began to leave.  The advocate and vigil participant approached the vehicle as they exited the lot.

The friend driving opened her window, smiled at the Advocate and said, “She didn’t do it.”

Praise the Lord!

The Sidewalk Advocate and vigil participants were overcome with joy as this mother, who a short time ago thought abortion was her only option, now chooses life.

If it were not for the 40 Days for Life vigil participants and this courageous advocate, where would this mother be?  Would she have known about the life-saving options available her in order to make an informed decision to choose life?  Would she be mourning the loss of her child at this very moment?

This is the importance of authentic advocacy on the sidewalk coupled with prayer.  When we are present lives are saved, one life at a time.

Our work is not done.  May we continue to go to the sidewalk to advocate for more mothers and their babies.

This past Friday, we had a great number of people show up at the vigil, bringing the light of Christ’s love to the darkest place in our area.  Families and individuals willing to give of their own time to save the life of another.  There is one more week of 40 Days for Life left.  Come and vigil, prayerfully, for the conversion of hearts and minds.  Let’s cover every hour from 7 AM to 7 PM.  Let’s finish strong.

On Friday morning, as many 40 Days for Life vigil participants prayed, a young lady, who had driven herself from another state, stopped to speak to the sidewalk advocates.  As she pulled up we recall seeing a sense of relief on her face as she saw us there.  You could tell she wanted to talk to us.  Unfortunately, any chance of conversing with her was quickly disrupted as there was another car behind her pushing her beyond the outlet she was looking for.

The sidewalk advocates and vigil participants encouraged her to take a moment to speak with them after she parked.  We mentioned that we had wonderful life saving information in our brochure (pictured above) and have helped hundreds of mothers, just like her.  She smiled but with hesitation continued into the abortion facility.  She kept going in and out of the facility, pacing back and forth.  We continued to pray.  Sidewalk advocates continued to offer words of encouragement.  Thankfully after some time, the young mother garnered enough courage to approach one of the sidewalk advocates who was able to give her our sidewalk literature and talk with her for a few moments.  The mother continued to go back and forth into her car then into the abortion facility.  The vigil participants continued to pray.

It was around 11 AM, nearly 2.5 hours after she arrived when the advocates and vigil participants began speaking to this young mother, when she decided to leave! When she pulled up next to one of the sidewalk advocates and rolled down her car window, with as spirit of hope and confidence told the advocate she had, “Changed her mind and didn’t go through with the procedure!”  She was truly grateful for our information and we told her we would keep her in our prayers!  It was a great blessing to all of us!

Please continue to pray for this mother and all mothers who at this moment who don’t know who to turn to or what to do or maybe they are struggling with the trauma associated with a past abortion.  May they have the courage to seek help.  May they have the courage to choose life like this mother.  May they continue to see us as a ray of hope.  May we continue to advocate for them in a spirit of love.

Abortion days in Pensacola are Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays all year long.  Approximately 30 to 40 mothers are victimized by abortion and babies lose their lives each week.  We need more people, just like these advocates and 40 Days for Life participants, to come in a spirit of prayer and loving advocacy, so that mothers and workers alike are inspired to find a path to life.

On the third Friday of this spring’s 40 Days for Life campaign in Pensacola, vigil participants and sidewalk advocates witnessed a mother choose life.

Today the Lord through one of our sidewalk advocates showed His faithfulness in answering our prayers once again.  A Spanish-only speaking couple walked out of the abortion facility and were greeted with love and prayers leading them to choose life for their baby.  The advocate will continue to stay in touch with this couple.  We need your continued prayers for them.

It is truly amazing how God plants certain individuals as instruments of His peace to bring hope to the hopeless in front of the American Family Planning abortion facility.

We praise the Lord for His abundant mercies on the advocate and this young family.

Continue to come out and pray and see what God will do with YOUR yes.

On Friday, several families attended the 40 Days for Life vigil in Pensacola.  At the abortion facility we met a beautiful family praying from Victory Baptist Church.  Their witness is a testament to Our Lord’s blessings; the love and faith of family.

We had another big family this morning too!  They came to the vigil to pray as a family.

Both are beautiful witnesses to life and love.  The vigil continues through March 25 each day from 7 AM to 7 PM in front of the American Family Planning abortion facility at 6115 Village Oaks Drive.

Peaceful, Prayerful witness saves lives.

Here is a SAVE REPORT from Wednesday!  Praise the Lord!

This is from one of our Sidewalk Advocates on Wednesday.

One bright moment was when a young woman, upon driving away with her male partner – who had talked with an advocate while she was inside – said out her window, “I didn’t do it!”. God bless that mother, her baby, and Kelsey, the baby’s father. And God Bless all those who gave their time, their faith, and their voices for the voiceless unborn.

As vigil participants prayed Friday in front of the American Family Planning abortion facility in Pensacola, a young father in a car pulled over to speak with a sidewalk advocate to inform the advocate that his friend was inside the building about to have an abortion.  The advocate informed him about all the dangers and consequences of having an abortion and the trauma associated with it to both men and women.  The conversation ended with the advocate praying with the young man.  He then told him that we can help his friend inside, if she would be open to speaking with us.

After praying, the young father went into the building, spoke with his friend, and came out telling 40 Days for Life participants that his friend was not going to have the abortion.  He believed that this was an answer to prayer.  On their way home, he called the advocate to inform him of this decision and thanked the advocate for his prayers and his words of encouragement, ending with “Thank you for all you have done for me.”

Please continue to pray for this couple.  We have exchanged numbers in attempt to walk with them on life’s journey.

Praise you Jesus for answering our prayers!

There are men and women like this couple, who right now, are planning to have an abortion this week in Pensacola.  Will YOU be there in prayer and love for them to show you care?

See you on the sidewalk…
