This is what one of this mornings prayer vigil participants heard from a young man.  He told her that her presence was making his friend’s decision much more difficult.

Although the young woman did decide to have an abortion (let us pray for her that she will come to know Gods mercy), the young man’s words illustrate something very important.  A pro-life presence in front of an abortion facility is absolutely necessary.  If there is no presence then consciences go unchecked.  Please remember how vitally important your presence is to changing hearts and minds from the deception of abortion.  We hope to see you along with many new faces as our spring 40 Days for Life kicks off this February 17th through March 28th in front of AMS of Pensacola abortion facility.  Each and every day please remember to pray for an end to abortion and ask God how he could use your time, talent, and treasure to end abortion in Pensacola.  May the Peace of Jesus Christ be with you!

From February 17- March 28, 2010, Pensacola will kick off our first  Spring 40 Days for Life campaign!  We were so blessed to witness the power and effectiveness of prayer, fasting and peaceful vigil in the closure of the Community Healthcare Center of Pensacola abortion facility last fall!  And now,  once again, with one abortion facility remaining in Pensacola,  we will PRAY, we will FAST, and we will PEACEFULLY STAND VIGIL  this time, at the AMS of Pensacola abortion facility and declare the end of abortion in Pensacola.  Join us and bear witness to the many miracles God has planned for 40 Days for Life Pensacola SPRING 2010.

AMS of PENSACOLA abortion clinic is doing abortions today Saturday, Nov 28. If you can come and pray with us this morning from 6:30am till… we will be praying in front of the abortion facility located at 6115 Village Oaks Drive in Pensacola. The AMS of PENSACOLA abortion facility is off Davis Hwy down Village Oaks Drive, behind the Hobby Lobby store. You will pass Boar’s Head on your left down Village Oaks Dr. The abortion facility is the next unmarked metal building on the left.

Candlelight prayer vigil tomorrow night from 7 – 8 PM in front of 6770 North 9th Avenue as we mark the half way point of this fall’s 40 Days for Life.  Come pray with us and celebrate life.

“And who is my neighbor?”
Jesus replied,
“A man fell victim to robbers
as he went down from Jerusalem to Jericho.
They stripped and beat him and went off leaving him half-dead.
A priest happened to be going down that road,
but when he saw him, he passed by on the opposite side.
Likewise a Levite came to the place,
and when he saw him, he passed by on the opposite side.
But a Samaritan traveler who came upon him
was moved with compassion at the sight.
He approached the victim,
poured oil and wine over his wounds and bandaged them.
Then he lifted him up on his own animal,
took him to an inn, and cared for him.
The next day he took out two silver coins
and gave them to the innkeeper with the instruction,
‘Take care of him.
If you spend more than what I have given you,
I shall repay you on my way back.’
Which of these three, in your opinion,
was neighbor to the robbers’ victim?”
He answered, “The one who treated him with mercy.”
Jesus said to him, “Go and do likewise.”

In our world today many look down on the homeless and those who live in our streets.  One might say they are the Samaritans of our age.  Today’s gospel reading was about the good Samaritan and here on the streets of Pensacola a   REAL GOOD SAMARITAN taught us a valuable lesson.  Our Good Samaritan was walking by the Community Healthcare Center of Pensacola, stopped and noticed an African American couple getting out of their vehicle to enter the abortion facility.  He called out to the couple, ” Why don’t you give your child a chance to live before killing him?”   The man and woman looked at the Samaritan, with tears in their eyes (probably realizing that their state in life was not so bad that they could not afford their child), left the abortion clinic and a child’s life is saved.  All because one GOOD SAMARITAN did not just pass by, but stopped and reached out with words of truth and love.

Thank you GOOD SAMARITAN, you humble us with your selflessness

Join us this Sunday (Respect Life Sunday), October 4th, from 7 – 8 PM for a candlelight vigil as we pray in front of the Community Healthcare Center of Pensacola (6770 North 9th Avenue).  The special intention for this vigil is for the conversion of the hearts and minds of the abortionists, staff, and volunteers of the two abortion facilities in Pensacola.  We pray that they might come to know the LORD OF LIFE, Jesus Christ.  Help bring the light of Christ to the darkness that these poor souls work in each day at the Community Healthcare Center of Pensacola and AMS of Pensacola abortion facilities.

Today, many vigil participants witnessed a young woman, accompanied by her angry mother, walk out of the 9th avenue mill to save the life of her baby!  The young woman passed by the 40 Days for Life prayer volunteers with a big smile.  She stated she was keeping her baby!  Praise God!  Keep up the prayers.  Keep going to the 9th Avenue mill in prayer.  Miracles are happening.

This afternoon as 7 – 8 vigil participants prayed in front of the Community Healthcare Center of Pensacola, a young couple in a VW beetle drove into the facility parking lot.  A young man stepped out of the car smoking a cigarette, but the young woman remained in the car.  Seeing the young couple, the women 40 Days for Life participants began to speak to the young man.  They told him about the painful scar abortion had left on their friends lives and on the lives of their families.  One of the 40 Days for Life participants told the young man about the loss of a niece or nephew to abortion.  She explained to the young man that her sister has never been the same since her abortion.  As she finished telling the young man how abortion affected her family, he looked at the vigil participants, put his cigarette to the ground, and then drove away with the young woman.

We hope and pray that this young couple continues to give life a chance.  It is a good sign that they left the 9th avenue abortion facility.  We pray that God will continue to speak to them.  Please pray for this young couple that they will keep their child.

Thank you to all those that have shown up to pray for life and being a positive example for life.  Keep going.  Keep praying.  Keep fasting.  Keep witnessing to a community hungry for the truth.

If you haven’t gone to pray yet, you need to.  Now more than ever your witness is critical to changing hearts and minds.  God will use you to bring his love and mercy to those that need to hear of his LOVE for them.

Don’t wait another day.  Go.  Pray.  Fast.  Witness.  Life is depending on you.
